About the Artist
Jiawei Gong is a transmedia artist with over two decades of experience spanning both applied and fine arts. Drawing inspiration from traditional Chinese philosophy and literature, Gong's current studio practice explores fundamental human experiences as well as contemporary social and cultural issues. He employs a diverse range of media, including digital film and photography, virtual reality video and installations, sound art, performance, and interactive web art, to delve into these themes.
